Winter hike through Bärenried Forest
What could be more invigorating than a walk through a forest winter wonderland? Bärenried Forest, just outside the city of Bern, has a fantastic winter adventure in store for you.
Take the postbus to the Zollikofen railway station and continue by RBS bus to Schönegg in Münchenbuchsee: This is how your magical winter adventure just north of Bern begins. Walk up to Schüpberg through Bärenried Forest on forest paths and hiking trails. Stop in at the restaurant for something good to eat, before you go on in the direction of Grächwil to Leutschen with marvellous views of the Alps. Heading in southern direction, the route takes you past Südhang Clinic and finally to Kirchlindach, where you can catch a postbus to Bern or Zollikofen.
