Travel by Postbus from Spiez to Aeschiried, via Aeschi, and on into the Suld Valley.
Stop to recharge your batteries at Restaurant Pochtenfall or enjoy a picnic at one of the many campfire spots. Hike to Saxeten, past the impressive 80-metre-high Pochten Falls and over the Renggli Pass. In Saxeten, you can then board another Postbus and travel to Interlaken, West train station, via Wilderswil. The Suld Valley offers many more opportunities: Hike the Morgenberghorn and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views over the Lakes of Thun and Brienz. Visit the Suld Valley Alpine dairy or while away your time by the picturesque Suldbach river.

On Saturdays and Sundays from 9 July to 9 October 2011, the PostBus-operated Suld Valley bus runs five times a day from Aeschiried to Suld and back. The timetable is available under Downloads. Season tickets such as the general rail pass (GA), half-fare card, day pass, FVP (discounted travel pass for staff), regional travelcard, Junior Card, etc. are not valid in the Suld Valley area.
Prices for a single journey: adults CHF 5.00, children CHF 3.00.
The fare must be paid directly on the Postbus. No other tickets or passes are accepted.
