Since the start of the summer season, Postbus route 103 from Interlaken to Bönigen–Iseltwald has enjoyed extremely high demand. The passengers include many Koreans who are visiting Iseltwald as one of the locations of the Korean series “Crash Landing on You”. The extremely popular TV drama series ran in 2019 and 2020 and is also shown on Netflix. It is about a wealthy South Korean woman who lands in the mountains of North Korea after a paragliding accident and falls in love with a North Korean officer.

Thanks to the good weather, many more visitors from Switzerland and abroad will be using route 103 over these weeks. They combine a visit to the Brienz lake peninsula with a hike or a boat trip. To relieve the strain on the service, PostBus will be introducing additional journeys between Bönigen and Iseltwald from next Saturday, 23 July. These additional Postbuses are expected to run until at least 28 August. PostBus is adapting its timetable apps, and passengers will also be informed about the additional services at bus stops.
