PostBus no longer offers its own app

As part of a new strategy, PostBus decided in 2020 to discontinue the PostBus App. The previous app was designed as a multimodal platform that pooled several modes of transport. Since the realignment of PostBus’s digital, mobile presence, this service has no longer been available.

New PostBus strategy

The realignment of PostBus in 2020 fundamentally changed the focus of PostBus’s digital, mobile presence. As a result, users of the PostBus App were informed on 25 May 2020 that operation of the app would be discontinued in August 2020.

Good alternatives

Good alternatives to the discontinued PostBus App are now available. You can find plenty of information on planning and undertaking a public transport journey on the PostBus website, which is also displayed in a user-friendly manner on smartphones. Passengers who want to buy tickets via smartphone will find all the services they need on the available ticket apps (e.g. the SBB app or Fairtiq).
