Leave your shoes and socks in your rucksack and give your senses free rein as you follow the barefoot and panorama trail around the Nollen. From the “Rigi of eastern Switzerland“, you can enjoy stunning views of the Alpstein region, the Churfirsten mountain range, the Glarner Alps and – on a clear day – you’ll even catch a glimpse of the Bernese mountain peaks. On this adventurous barefoot trail, you’ll feel the change in terrain under foot, from grassy meadows, to streams, woody undergrowth, stones and tree roots. Specially erected sensory posts will give your feet a thorough workout along the way: wading through boggy areas, balancing on tree trunks and experiencing the special sensory sections.
