Bike loop tour Savognin

To Ziteil by bike

A strenuous pilgrimage by bike, with a heavenly view of the Graubünden mountain scenery. Start off in Savognin and discover the gateway to heaven.

The Ziteil tour, or the «Heaven's Door Tour» as it is also known, leads bikers through a beautiful landscape up to the Ziteil church of pilgrimage (2,433 m).

This demanding tour is signposted with no. 650from the base station of the Savognin mountain railways. It starts off with a pleasant ascent via Salouf to Munter. The trail then becomes steeper and more stony. Some sections can only be ridden by the most advanced bikers, who are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view across the Surses. For experienced freeriders, the descent to Cre digl Lai is an absolute highlight. The descent leads through a beautiful moorland in Got Grond via Tigignas back to the starting point in Savognin.
