Thanks to its location with guaranteed snow, Bosco Gurin has become an attractive tourist destination over the years. A first-class ski area with 30 km of slopes and many attractions for a great day in the snow.
Bosco Gurin is the highest inhabited village in Ticino and the only one in the whole canton where German or rather the Walser dialect is spoken. There are many legends about Bosco Gurin and its inhabitants which lend the village a fairytale aura. Get on the postbus in Cevio and experience the unique atmosphere of this magnificent valley.
Bosco Gurin has long been a privileged destination for winter sports. In fact, the mountains here show their magical side especially in winter and offer a multitude of possibilities for sports: Alpine skiing, snowboarding and freestyle, hiking, snowshoeing, sledding and skating. A total of thirty kilometres of easy slopes for beginners and more demanding ones for experienced skiers are served by two comfortable chair lifts and three ski lifts. A children's area and various restaurants complete the offer. Bosco Gurin also has great snowshoe trails for tours through the beautiful fairytale landscape. The place is just as popular with ski tourers who find their ideal route in the picturesque countryside on the ascent to the Ritzberg or Martschenspitz. At the end of the village, a natural ice rink is set up in the car park, where young and old skating fans will have lots of fun.
Bosco Gurin is the equivalent of sports in the heart of nature and fun for the whole family.
