Postbuses on the Eigenthal route operate every day of the year with bus number 71. In Eigenthal, more than 100 hiking trails attract visitors to explore this unique landscape. The Eigenthal (Pilatus) Route (postbus route 71) travels from the Lucerne train station to the Eigenthal Valley at the foot of Lucerne’s Mount Pilatus. The direct route to the Eigenthal Valley takes no more than 30 minutes. Hop off the bus now and then to discover some highlights on the way. The connection via Malters is another alternative: take the train or S-Bahn from Lucerne to the Malters railway station, then continue with PostBus route 211 to Eigenthal.
