Fläsch
The Beauty of the “Bündner Herrschaft” Region
Architecture, wine and biking. The village of Fläsch in the Bündner Herrschaft region has much to offer. Be sure to pay a visit to the sunny side of the Grisons.
The wine-growing village of Fläsch in the Rhine Valley received the Wakker Prize in 2010. This prize is awarded by the Swiss Heritage Society for innovative municipal planning. Thanks to new regulations on land use, the characteristic vineyards and orchards in the village centre were preserved without interfering with new construction.
Above all, however, the region is known for its outstanding wines. Fläsch has 14 self-processing operationshandling everything from vine pruning to marketing the wine. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit one or two of these vineyards.
If you happen to be out and about on your bike, take Rhine Route 2 to get to Fläsch.
