Hiking tour – from the Flüela pass to Davos
A hiking suggestion in the Flüela valley
Arrival
Your excursion starts with the first highlight: the PostBus journey from Davos to Flüela-Hospiz. A breathtaking mountain landscape spreads out before you. You can take a break at Flüela Hospiz before you start your hike.
The hike
This route leads off to the right at the marked junction and through marmot country, through the "alpine tundra" to the Wägerhaus (guesthouse) (Jöri Pass junction).
Keeping to the footpath – and avoiding the main road – the route continues down through Karlimatten to Tschuggen. The trail then crosses the fast-flowing Flüelabach and leads on to Schindelboden. Shortly afterwards, the path enters a fragrant pine forest and continues along the craggy ravine, surrounded by the Büelenhorn and Hüreli mountains. Finally, the route passes the stunning Flüela Waterfall and, bearing left, takes you out of the valley towards Davos.
