With or without Nordic walking sticks, the panoramic loop trails at the Schauenberg are a great experience. After the exercise, the historic restaurant of the Gyrenbad inn awaits the guests with a varied offer of regional specialities.
Three different routes are available to Nordic walking enthusiasts and hikers at the Schauenberg in the Töss valley, canton of Zurich. They are signposted throughout so nobody will get lost. Along the way, the views over the Töss valley and the entire mountain chain of the alps, from the Bernese Oberland to eastern Switzerland, are simply spectacular. Starting and arrival point of the loop trails is the Gyrenbad inn, situated at an elevation of 720 m.a.s.l., which is more than 300 years old. The 17th century building is full of nostalgic charm. Regional specialities are served on the idyllic terrace and in the historic rooms of the restaurant.
