Ice fishing – an exciting winter adventure for those who love fishing. On a sunny day or in the midst of snow flurries, either way, ice fishing is fun on the spectacular high plateau of Melchsee-Frutt.
At Melchsee-Frutt you have the opportunity to spend an unforgettable day of ice fishing. Accompanied by guides, you cut your own opening on Melchsee or Tannensee and with a bit of luck you may pull out some good-sized trout or char.
Ice fishing (event with overnight accommodation or just one day of ice fishing) is available from mid-January to late March, but only on certain dates and under the professional supervision of the ice fishing guides of Melchsee-Frutt. These dates are listed at www.melchsee-frutt.ch/fischerei/eisfischen. Reservations are required as the event is very popular and space is limited. Children aged 10 and older are welcome.
The rules according to the information leaflet www.melchsee-frutt.ch/fischerei/reglemente-vorschriften-2 apply.
