Immerse yourself in the rugged countryside of Val S-charl.
Take the Postbus from Zernez to the summit of the Ofen Pass, the starting point of your hike. The path leads via Alp da Munt to Alp Champatsch where you start following the signs for the “Way of St. James Grisons 43”. The trail climbs steeply to the top of Pass Costainas and then immediately begins to descend gently past Alp Astras and on to the charming village of S-charl. Why don’t you relax here for a while and enjoy a regional specialty in one of the cosy restaurants before you catch a PostBus back to Scuol.
