Overview
The Panorama Path with its beautiful views starts at the village square in Meikirch and leads in western direction via Innerberg to Gummen/Frieswilhubel. It continues to Dampfwil and through the forest to Chutzen Tower, a landmark of this region. Make sure you don’t miss the spectacular panoramic views from Chutzen Tower. The nearby Chutzen Hut and the many grilling stations on the way are perfect places to take a break. The walk goes on through the forest and ends in Saurenhorn, but you could also continue to Frienisberg. To end the day, you could visit the former Frienisberg Abbey or relax on the terrace of Restaurant Hirschen.

Frienisberg Monastery
Frienisberg Monastery in Seedorf, established in 1191, is a combination of three architectural periods: Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque. The Monastery is now a home for senior citizens and also serves as a stage for the Frienisberg Monastery Festival. The building complex additionally houses a public restaurant overlooking a charming pond.
