Panoramic trail Aeschiried with suspension bridge Leissigen

Stages of the hiking tour: Aeschiried – Hellboden – Panoramabrücke Leissigen – Meielisalp – Leissigen.

From Aeschiried you walk through meadows and forests. Highlights of the panoramic trail Aeschiried are the mountain panorama and the panorama bridge Leissigen.

After a 20-minute ride by postbus from Spiez train station you will reach the bus stop Aeschiried Schulhaus. This is the starting point of the panoramic circular walk.

You cross a short stretch of forest and walk past Hellboden, a popular picnic area. 

The route continues over meadows and through woods, always with an impressive mountain panorama, until you reach the panorama bridge Leissigen which leads over the Spissibach. 
Enjoy a vertigo-free experience 60 metres above the ground on the 140 metre long suspension bridge.

A short time later you reach Meielisalp where you can treat yourself to a break at Hotel Meielisalp with a view of Lake Thun before you start your descent to Leissigen train station.

The highlights of this hike are the impressive mountain panorama and the panorama bridge Leissigen.
