The Plättli-Zoo is undoubtedly one of Frauenfeld’s most popular attractions; where animal species from all over the world live together in a charming setting. An ideal place for family excursions.

The Plättli-Zoo lies on an elevated area in Frauenfeld, and is home to a colourful mix of birds and mammals from all over the world - including lions, pumas, chimpanzees, wild boars and tortoises. And along the new and extended round path with lamas, kangaroos and camels you enjoy picturesque views of Frauenfeld and the Thur plane. Warm and friendly ambiance in the Plättli-Zoo, together with grill place, children’s playground and a restaurant, invite you to a great day out with the family.
