Let’s go south! From Chur across the Splügen Pass to Italy. After a memorable ride across the pass, southern charm awaits you in Chiavenna, before you continue to St.Moritz.
This exciting PostBus ride takes you from Chur through the Domleschg Valley and the Roffla Gorge further into the Upper Rhine Valley. Up to Splügen, the PostBus route is the same as the Chur-Bellinzona line. The characteristic Splügen village was once an important trading post in the Grisons and received the Wakker Prize for preserving its architectural heritage. The trip continues in southern direction, now in a blue STPS bus from Italy, over the Splügen Pass (2113 m) and to Madesimo and Chiavenna. The impressive ride across the mountains to Italy culminates with the southern charm of Chiavenna where you will have to switch back to a yellow PostBus for the trip to St. Moritz via the Maloja Pass.
