An amazing experience, with truly cool enjoyment on the Niederhorn to Vorsass toboggan run.
You arrive at Beatenberg station by Postbus from Interlaken West. The Niederhorn cable car then takes you to the summit. A breathtaking panoramic view of the Bernese Oberland awaits you here.
You then hurtle down the mountain on a sledging route that stretches more than 3 km. The path is bordered by a fairy-tale, snow-covered winter landscape set against spectacular mountain scenery. When you reach the Vorsass half-way station, climb into the cable car and head back up to the summit where the fun can start all over.
You can hire the sledges at the Niederhorn mountain station for a fee.
Every Friday and Saturday evening, sledging under the stars is held. The cable car runs every 15 minutes from the Vorsass half-way station to the top of the Niederhorn. The sledging route is marked with lanterns.
Our tip: book the “Starlit sledging PLUS” offer which includes fondue in the Berghaus Niederhorn and a glass of punch or mulled wine in the Vorsass mountain restaurant.
