A hike from the Töss Valley to Sternenberg, the highest village in the canton of Zurich – through dense forest, past waterfalls and the Hagheerenloch.
Reaching Sternenberg on foot involves an ascent of 230 metres. Surrounded by 12 densely wooded valleys and ravines, the village is situated at 900 metres above sea level. From Bauma, the trail follows the Feietbach. You will pass by the Hagheerenloch, where a treasure is said to be hidden to this day. To explore, wear solid shoes and bring a flashlight!

From Rüti ZH or Winterthur, take S26 to Bauma. From Bauma take PostBus route 809 directly to Sternenberg, Kirche.
