Vivarium Tablat
Observe native amphibian and reptile species
What are the habits and habitat of the fire salamander? What does an adder eat? Discover the answers to these and many other questions at Vivarium in Tablat. Observe amphibians and reptiles which have become rare in Switzerland
Observe native amphibians and reptiles at Vivarium Tablat in the Töss valley. Lizards, salamanders and snakes live in outdoor terrariums, while frogs, toads and newts are kept in aquaterrariums.
Various small creatures can be spotted in wood piles, dry walls and brushwood in the nature garden. Mammals such as mice, dormice and hedgehogs also call this place home. Observation aids and boards lead you to these habitats and provide information on the fauna and flora. Groups can also register for a nature safari.
