The hike goes from Sörenberg to Schwand, Rossweid and Salwidili and forward to Kemmeriboden Bad.
The hiking route from Sörenberg to Kemmeriboden Bad is always well groomed and generally easy to walk without snowshoes. It leads through a very varied landscape. The trail climbs from the Sörenberg valley basin through numerous wooded areas and across open spaces to the heights at Salwideli and then descends pleasantly into the rearmost Emmental valley. All along the route, there are beautiful views of the Giswiler Stöcke, the Brienzer Rothorn and the long ridge of the Schratteflue to be enjoyed. What is more, there are several places to stop for refreshments, at the Alphotel Schwand, on the Rossweid, at the Salwideli mountain inn and finally at Kemmeriboden Bad. If you want to shorten the route, simply take the cable car in Sörenberg up to Rossweid.
