Zügen Gorge

Challenging trails amidst breathtaking ravines in the Landwasser valley will test your riding skills. Discover the wild Zügen Gorge on a mountain bike.

The Landwasser valley has impressive scenery and a wide variety of single tracks for mountain bikers in store. The tour through Zügen Gorge is a combination of both.

The trip starts out at a leisurely pace in Davos Glaris heading in the direction of Monstein, soon to be followed by challenging single tracks past old ore mines to Jenisberg and a thrilling downhill ride to the valley bottom. At Wiesen station, the trail crosses over to the other side of the valley and climbs up to Wiesen where the old Zügen Road begins. The road leads back to Davos on exciting trails and across some steep terrain.

Tip: If you prefer to start out slowly before taking on more difficult trails, hop on a PostBus to Wiesen and return to Davos on the old Zügen Road.
