Zurich Airport is Switzerland’s gateway to the world. Experience aircraft up close from the observation decks; just a few metres away from the steel jet liners. Butterflies in your stomach are guaranteed.
Planes take off and land just 100 metres away, alongside observation decks B and E. Nowhere else in the world can you get so close to aircraft in action. Special binoculars allow visitors to find out information on the planes and buildings on the tarmac. The main drawcard apart from plane-spotting is the large children’s play area, featuring a mini-airport and tower.
Those wanting to take a look behind the scenes should book one of the various themed tours.
A tour by bus takes you up close to the airport operations.
You can travel approx. 16 km by bicycle or inline skates around the airport and through one of the largest nature reserves in the Canton of Zurich.
