Attractions along the route

Discover the special charm of Chur, Switzerland’s oldest city. Continue via Churwalden to Valbella, where you can enjoy a wonderful view over Lenzerheide. Discover the rope park and Switzerland’s longest toboggan run on Alp Pradaschier.

Lenzerheide also offers a wide variety of leisure activities at any time of year. In summer, the idyllic Lake Heidsee is the perfect place to take a refreshing dip. The Julier Pass route operates to Lenzerheide daily throughout the year. Services run to St Moritz as follows:

  • Daily from approx. mid-December to mid-April

Lenzerheide

The Squirrel Trail is approximately 1 km long and lies between the Catholic church in Lenzerheide and Lake Heidsee. It can easily be walked with small children and is suitable for pushchairs. Time flies as you watch and feed the squirrels, birds and ducks or have fun at the playground.

On the Globi Hiking Trail in Lenzerheide, young and old alike will learn interesting information about the diversity of nature through fun and games at 13 discovery stations. The route is designed to be lively for children throughout the walk. The start can be found at the Val Sporz valley station. From there, you will travel by chairlift to the Tgantienti mountain station.

Parc Ela Nature Park

Parc Ela covers an area of 548 km2, including the Albula and Surses valleys. The aim of the park is the sustainable development of nature and local culture. Discover how people and nature can live in harmony on the numerous hiking trails in the nature park.

Alp Flix

Visitors to Alp Flix’s high plateau are enchanted by the vast expanse of space and the views of Piz Platta. As a moorland area of national importance, Alp Flix has protected status. It is located on a high plateau around 2,000 metres above sea level, overlooking the village of Sur, and is also a noted treasure trove of biodiversity. This impressive natural setting offers a wide range of activities for families, hikers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts.
