You could be there as the (musical) folk culture festivalTarget not accessible in the unique Gsang forest glade in Giswil brings a piece of the big, wide world to Obwalden on 24–28 June 2026.

Various folk musicians from the guest country of Armenia will enchant the crowds with Armenian melodies. Folk music groups from Switzerland will also take to the stage at OBWALD, giving the audience a unique insight into the diversity of folk music in Armenia and Switzerland.

A cultural experience that will create unforgettable moments and leave lasting memories.

The festival is easy to reach by public transport. There will be free shuttle buses running between Sarnen railway station and the festival ground, and these will be coordinated with the train timetable.

We’re giving away 9 x 2 tickets for OBWALD on Sunday, 28 June 2026.

With a bit of luck, you could be there as the forest glade transforms into one of the most beautiful backdrops a music festival can have.
