Hohtenn – Ausserberg hike
The hike along the Lötschberg southern approach is one of the most impressive routes in Valais. The particularly popular stage from Hohtenn to Ausserberg is around 9.4 kilometres long (walking time approx. 3 ½ hours) and is ideal for hikers of all ages – including families with sure-footed children with experience of hiking.
The Hohtenn, Dorf (PDF, 558.5 KB) Postbus stop is about a 25-minute walk from the starting point of the hike. Thanks to its sunny location, this hike is a particular highlight in spring and autumn.
