Sargans–Flumserberg pop-up bus service
Travelling by car to a winter sports area has its downsides. Traffic jams, traffic and weather risks as well as full car parks can really take the fun out of things.
The Sargans–Flumserberg pop-up bus service, called “Winter Express”, is just what you need. This relaxing, comfortable service is quicker than taking the car, and brings winter sports enthusiasts from Sargans to Flumserberg via Flums.
It means passengers can save time, money and stress.

- 35 minutes from Sargans to Flumserberg Tannenboden
- Stop directly by the ski lift
- No need to search for a parking space, purchase a ticket or switch to the shuttle bus at the car park.

- Return tickets from just CHF 7.20 (with Half Fare Travelcard), so less expensive than parking charges
- A busy bus consumes far less CO2 than a car, and also takes up less space
The Winter-Express service has even more special features: it’s the first voting bus in Switzerland to allow interested parties from the region to vote online about the bus route and its stops.
PostBus and the climate co-operative 42hacks aim to target the needs of existing customers and those of potential new customers.
The pop-up route runs on Saturdays and Sundays until 26 February 2023 at the standard rate.
