Have you lost an item on a Postbus?

Have you lost something on a Postbus? Report your loss online! Thanks to our partnership with the SBB lost property office, you have a higher chance of finding your item again quickly, no matter where you lost it.

How to record a loss report

    Report the loss using the online form

    To register a loss report, you need an e-mail address. If you do not have one, please call the SBB Contact Center (CHF 0.08/min.).

    Describe the lost item, from its appearance to its contents. For example: jacket with brand and colour, followed by the contents of the jacket pockets.

    Review the proposed entries and choose the category to which your lost item belongs. Then follow the instructions on the form.

  4. 4

    SBB will contact you as soon as your item is found. You will also receive another message as soon as the item is ready for collection. If your item was not found immediately, you will receive a status report from SBB after 7 and 14 days at the latest.

  • Return fees

    Please note, there is a return fee for collection of the lost item.

    • CHF 10.00 per item with GA Travelcard / staff travel discount
    • CHF 15.00 surcharge for electronics, bicycles, buggies and e-scooters with GA Travelcard / staff travel discount
    • CHF 20.00 per item with a Half Fare Travelcard
    • CHF 20.00 per item with a personal Annual Point-to-Point Travelcard or Regional Travelcard
    • CHF 20.00 per item without one of the above-mentioned travelcards
    • CHF 25.00 surcharge for electronics, bicycles, buggies and e-scooters without one of the above-mentioned travelcards
    • CHF 10.00 per item in the event of a change of collection station after notification
