Mystical Tamina Gorge
The old Bad Pfäfers Baths are the oldest baroque bathing establishment in Switzerland. They are located in a wild romantic location in the imposing Tamina Gorge and have a thermal water source. You can really feel the immense power of water in the Tamina Gorge.

In the Tamina Gorge, you can experience the immense power of water: after the gate, you’ll move into a dark, humid gorge. The rocks draw ever nearer. A tunnel will lead you through the interior of the rock, past the small, hot thermal spring to the spring water grotto, through which 4,000 litres of water flow per minute.
The Tamina Gorge is also accessible on foot from the Valens, Pfäfers and Ragol stops. The hiking trail takes you over a natural bridge high above the Tamina and down to the Old Bad Pfäfers Baths, Switzerland’s oldest baroque spa building, located in a wild, romantic setting. The spa was built between 1704–1718 and restored between 1983–1995. There is a general ban on driving to the Old Bad Pfäfers Baths. Access is only possible by Postbus, RössliposchtTarget not accessible or on foot.

- Children 4–16 years old / dog: one-way journey CHF 4.00 / return journey CHF 6.00
- Adults: one-way journey CHF 6.00 / return journey CHF 11.00
- Groups (including children): one-way journey CHF 5.00 / return journey CHF 8.00
Half Fare and GA Travelcards, 1-day travelpasses and Ostwind fare network tickets are not recognized.
