Monte Lema

The cable car up to Monte Lema departs from Miglieglia, Postbus stop “Miglieglia, Paese”. From this peak, there are breathtaking views over the region, the Alps and as far as the Po Valley.

There are lots of activities to enjoy too: hiking and mountain-bike trails, an astronomy observatory, a restaurant serving regional dishes and a panoramic swing.

The Lema–Tamaro pre-alpine trail – one of the most wonderful routes in the Swiss alpine foothills on the border between Switzerland and Italy – also starts off in Monte Lema.
