As early as 1779, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe discovered the beautiful Rosenlaui valley as he hiked across the Grosse Scheidegg pass. A legendary, fast-paced 5.5-kilometre stretch of toboggan run takes you from the Grosse Scheidegg pass down to Schwarzwaldalp. The Postbus takes you conveniently from Meiringen to Grosse Scheidegg.
