The opportunity to be so close to the aircraft is unique worldwide. The planes take off and land just 100 metres away, next to observation terraces B and E. Special binoculars can be used to retrieve information on aircraft and buildings. In addition to the flight operations, the main attraction for children is the mini-airport, complete with tower and large playground.

With a bicycle or inline skates, you can travel approximately 16 km around the airport and through one of the largest nature reserves in the Canton of Zurich.

The Circle – the airport district
The Circle has shops, restaurants, bars and a large park to explore.
The sky platform, the highest point in the park, offers a fascinating view over the Circle. On a clear day, you can even see as far as the Alps.
The safari in the Park lets you discover the plants and animals that have made the park their home.
The Junior Ranger Programme will give children a better understanding of the nature around the airport and in the Circle Park. Experienced rangers accompany the young nature enthusiasts on their journey of discovery.
