Accessibility statement

PostBus undertakes to provide a website which is accessible to as much of the general public as possible, regardless of skills or technology. We are continually working to advance the user-friendliness and accessibility of our website.

Standards and guidelines

PostBus is guided by the standards of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Level AA.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are a recommendation for designing accessible Internet content. They were developed by the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative. The Level AA guidelines set out the following requirements in particular:

  1. 1

Perceivability through text alternatives for images, subtitles for audio content, ability to display content in different ways and change colour contrasts.

  2. 2

Operability through keyboard operation, colour contrasts, time limits for data entry, prevention of seizures and navigability.

  3. 3

Understandability through readability, predictability and assistance with entering data.

  4. 4

Robustness through compatibility with assistive technologies.

Although PostBus endeavours to comply with these recognized standards and guidelines for accessibility and user-friendliness, it is not always able to guarantee this in all areas of the website.

The website is verified and modified in line with the WCAG standards on a regular basis. However, if you encounter a problem, please contactus.
