Service area
PubliCar Oberegg-Reute serves the shaded area below as a “door-to-door service”:
- Every evening: the dark shaded core area (Oberegg district, the municipalities of Reute and Platz/Leuchen)
- Evenings only from 9 p.m. on Sundays and public holidays: the core area and the extended area (the entire Wolfhalden and Walzenhausen municipalities)

Journeys without reservations
No reservations are required for the following journeys (see also the online timetable):
Departure from Heiden
- Daily at 8.35 p.m., 9.35 p.m., 10.35 p.m. and 11.35 p.m.
- An additional service at 12.35 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights
The PubliCar area is served by a “door-to-door service”.
Oberegg AI, Post to Heiden
- Monday–Saturday at 9.18 p.m., 10.18 p.m. and 11.18 p.m.
- An additional service at 12.18 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights
The stops between Oberegg and Heiden are served as per the timetable.
Journeys with reservations
Reservations are required for the following journeys:
- Journeys within the PubliCar area (e.g. from Reute to Platz)
- Journeys from the PubliCar area to Heiden (e.g. from Zelg to Heiden on a Sunday evening)
Reservations can be made daily from 8 p.m. until the end of service hours by calling +41 79 608 75 00.
Wheelchair transport

Bicycle transport
Bikes cannot be transported on PubliCar.
Groups
Groups of 10 people or more receive a 30% discount on their public transport ticket. Please book your group trip at least two working days before the journey by calling +41 79 608 75 00.
Fares
PubliCar = public transport ticket + surcharge
The PubliCar fare comprises a regular public transport ticket and the PubliCar surcharge of CHF 3.00. The Junior Travelcard and Children’s Co-Travelcard are accepted for both components.
Public transport ticket
Buy a zone ticket from the OstwindTarget not accessible fare network for your PubliCar journey (e.g. a single ticket, a multiple-trip ticket or a 1-day travelpass). The GA Travelcard, Half Fare Travelcard and Bodensee TicketTarget not accessible are accepted.
The usual public transport fare regulations apply to dogs.
You can purchase tickets for your journey online via the SBB Mobile appTarget not accessible, from the SBB online shopTarget not accessible, at ticket machines or from drivers.
