With this new investment, Postbus is reinforcing its commitment to increasingly sustainable and future-oriented mobility. The new vehicles ensure quieter and more comfortable journeys for customers, high standards of accessibility and a major environmental benefit for the region.

The switch to electric traction will save around 93,200 liters of diesel each year and prevent the emission of around 234 tons of CO2, making a real contribution to improving air quality and reducing the environmental impact of public transport.

The arrival of the new means was made possible also thanks to the investments in the recharging infrastructure at the Bellinzona depot and is part of the Postbus strategy aimed at the progressive conversion of the fleet to fossil fuel-free propulsions.

With these new buses, the number of Postbus electric vehicles in Ticino reaches 15, confirming the company's role as a key player in sustainable mobility in Swiss public transport.
