From Interlaken, the Beatenberg route takes you to Beatenberg, a sun terrace with numerous leisure activities.

Interlaken, located between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, offers magnificent views over the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and stylish Belle Epoque hotels. Interlaken is the starting point for excursions to Lake Brienz and Lake Thun and the surrounding mountain areas such as the Jungfrau region.

Following impressive views of the unique mountain landscape, the Postbus will take you up to Beatenberg. In the Panorama indoor pool, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains in the Jungfrau region. You can learn all about the legend of St. Beatus on the St. Beatus trail from Waldegg to Beatenberg, and in the St. Beatus caves.

In winter, the Niederhorn cable car takes you to an attractive family skiing area with sledging, cross-country skiing and winter hiking trails.

In the summer, the area is an attractive spot for paragliders, hikers and scooter lovers. It will also appeal to nature lovers, as ibex, chamois and marmots can often be seen here.
